This week marks the end of the 2019-20 school year. Our teachers are finalizing student grades and closing out the year, and we are already deep into planning for our return in August. Please read through all of this information carefully, as there is much to share about what to expect in the weeks and months to come:
The online application for P-EBT is now open. Please review the criteria to see if you need to apply to receive these benefits. The application link is provided.
We are excited to announce the arrival of your child’s books through the My Home Library program of the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation. Before the school building closed in March, your students in PreK-3 through 5th grade selected six books to receive at no charge.
This is our last full week of online instruction, all assignments are due to teachers by this FRIDAY, May 22. We will observe the Memorial Day holiday next Monday and teachers will be finalizing student grades next week on

As we move through this week of spring break and prepare for the school closure in the weeks ahead, we hope that you and your family are managing through this crisis. Yellowstone will remain closed through April 10, 2020. We will be sending more details shortly about additional learning opportunities.
Yellowstone is canceling classes starting Friday, March 13 through Monday, March 30. Classes will resume for all students on Tuesday, March 31 at normal time. We will send additional updates in the days to come.
As you have likely heard, Houston is beginning to ramp up its response to the coronavirus/COVID 19 outbreak, including shutting down the rodeo today and canceling or postponing many events around the city. As we did last week, we wanted to give you an update on how we are managing this situation to ensure that your family, our staff, and our students are safe.
